A Bit About Me:I have been working in education for over a decade. I received my BA in 1999 and my elementary teaching credential in 2002.I have worked with and taught people ranging in age from infants through senior citizens. As a teacher I am often amazed by how much I learn from those I am entrusted to teach. As a mother of five dynamic and brilliant children, I am inspired by the impact that quality early childhood experiences can have on the lives of children. My own children are fortunate to have had many responsive teachers that have worked to build relationships with them that they still talk about and treasure. I strive each day to make a difference in the lives of the children in my elementary classroom. One of my goals as your instructor this semester is to get you to challenge your thoughts and opinions, with the hope that as an educator of young children you are inspired to learn. Join me in a journey of life-long learning!
